We are located in beautiful

Southern California situated at the base of the San Bernardino National Forest. We offer selectively bred quality pet rats for your consideration. Our breeding program is small and focused on long-term health and sweet temperaments, which make for perfect pets, never food!

We specialize in varieties; dumbo, hairless, standard, satin, mink, dalmation, and rex.

Motivated by a genuine passion for animals and a deep understanding of quality care, we strive to provide you with a loving and healthy companion. All are handled daily with love, provided behavioral enrichment to keep them stimulated, and their cages are deep cleaned every three days. We continue to serve a growing client base so once you purchase a rat from us you become part of the Little Bean Rattery family, forever.

Inquires/Questions

How to reserve rats:

Step 1:

Submit an application. All applications and inquires will be addressed in the order they are received. Please be considerate and patient while waiting for a response as I do work a full-time job, in addition to maintaining the rattery.

Step 2:

After your application is approved, I require a non-refundable 50% deposit to hold rats, which is payable via Venmo. The deposit will be deducted from the total due at pick up. Rats are individually priced depending on variety, and will only be sold in same-sex pairs as they are not solitary animals.

Step 3:

Rats are officially reserved. Enjoy photo updates until your chosen beans are ready to go home, at 5 weeks of age.

NOTE: Beans are sold on a first-come-first-serve basis depending on when your deposit was received

Be at least 18 years of age, or have signed consent from an adult in your house
Provide me with a picture of your cage set up
Acknowledge you have read over the "Rat Guide" section on the main page
Have an approved vet in your immediate area that is willing and able to see "pocket pets." Not all are!
